A 75-foot boat caught fire close to Santa Cruz Island off the coast from Los Angeles. The passengers were trapped on the deck, 8 people were found dead and 26 are missing. The boat was on a diving excursion around the Santa Cruz Island when the incident happened. The intense heat blocked the Coast Guard to look for survivors before the boat sank. Following to that, a big fog complicated rescue effort. Five people jumped into the water and were rescued by other people that were on their own pleasure boat. They had to paddled 200 yards before they got the pleasure boat, some were in their underwear and 2 with leg injuries. One of them left his girlfriend below deck as 2 of the men went back to look for survivors but didn’t found none. The coast Guard belief that these passengers must have been sleeping at the time if the incident. The boat sank 20 yards off the Island’s northern shore. It has been known that the boat was with safety regulations, in full compliance and that the owner was collaborating with the investigators.

This is two different situations were both have to deal with a tragedy in a boat or ship. Also, these people were doing their excursion around the Island of Santa Cruz. Like in The Tempest, Prospero and Miranda got washed up in a desert island where now Prospero continues practicing her magic assisted by the spirit of Ariel. Now that Prospero have the opportunity to revenge her enemies, the people responsible of why she had to go away in a boat with her little daughter Miranda. She is thinking on getting Miranda marry Ferdinand. With her magic, she has shipwreck them all on her island. Now that they are safe on the island, Alonso mourns Ferdinand because she thinks he is dead. As in this news the man that was rescued by the people on the pleasure boat, he was desperate because he left his girlfriend trapped back in the boat.
